Introduction to Ebenezer

Knowing God can seem unlikely and horribly difficult. But what would happen if you could know God? How would that affect your life? Life at Ebenezer centers around Jesus Christ because his life, death, and resurrection changed everything. You can know God because Jesus’ life was the life you should have lived. Jesus endured the death that destroyed all barriers to God. Because he has risen from the dead, you can be with God forever.

At Ebenezer we strive to live in response to God’s mercy and grace. Forgiveness stands at the center. Jesus points out that those who are forgiven much, love much (Luke 7:47). Knowingly and unknowingly, we continue to fall short of God’s expectations. This causes pain and suffering to us and those around us. Because God has forgiven us, we can humbly repent of our sins and seek the good of our neighbors, friends, family, and the world.

People respond to Jesus differently, but here is something to consider: If Jesus rose from the dead, what difference would that make in your life? We believe Jesus rose from the dead and that is worth building your life around.

If you think this is too good to be true, this is the place to be.

If you think this all nonsense, this is the place to be.

If you are seeking God’s love and don’t know what to do, this is the place to be.

If you are spiritual, this is the place to be.

If you feel alienated and alone, this is the place to be.
