Guidelines

for Gathering at Ebenezer

Hi Ebenezer & Guests,

In Hebrews 10 we read about meeting together.  The point of meeting together is to encourage and stir up one another to love and for good works.

We are now able to gather together to worship in our facility. That doesn't mean everybody should come. Precautions are being taken for people's safety. Even with these precautions, if you do not feel comfortable attending, please stay home. We all have different aspects of our lives to take into consideration.

We need to adjust our expectations of worshiping together because it is going to feel very different than it did in early March.

Here are some guidelines from state and federal authorities for meeting in a worship setting along with what you can expect to happen at Ebenezer:

  • If you or a household member are sick, please stay home. We can love you from afar.
  • Take your temperature Sunday morning to make sure it is below 99 degrees.
  • If you are in a high risk category, talk through this decision with loved ones. If you do not feel comfortable attending in person, we will all support you in that decision.
  • Hand sanitizer is available.
  • Please wear a mask. If you forget, disposable masks are available.
  • The facility will be thoroughly cleaned.
  • Maintain social distancing before, during, and after the service.
  • Bulletins will not be printed. An order of service will be shown on the screen up front.
  • Music will still be played with singing leaders. Congregants are encouraged to listen or sing softly.
  • Communion will be served the first Sunday of each month in an individual container.
  • The offering plate will be located in the back as you leave the sanctuary. Online Giving is also available
  • No sermon discussion group. After the service, please head outside for fellowship.
  • Worship service will be available online.

Things change and we will make adjustments over the coming weeks and months. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Pastor Andy via the 'Contact' form page or via email or phone.
